Jeanneth Usaga, FNP

Jeanneth is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with experience working with critically ill children and their families. Jeanneth was born and raised in Nicaragua and moved to Miami, FL, in 2003. She relocated to Texas with her husband and son in October of 2018 and accepted an assignment in Austin as a travel RN. Soon after, Jeanneth accepted a position as a Nursing Faculty with Concordia University Texas in November 2018.

Jeanneth achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University in 2014. Jeanneth has also completed the ICU Float Pool Horizon Internship at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (NCH) in Miami, FL. In the summer of 2018, Jeanneth graduated from the University of Miami with a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. While studying for her master’s degree, Jeanneth participated in two mission trips to Haiti. “I fell in love with the people of Haiti, and I am very dedicated in continuing to assist in any way to help the needs of the citizens of Haiti.” In her free time, Jeanneth enjoys watching different Netflix series, and loves watching “Friends.”  She stated she “ never gets bored of re-watching episodes” and what she misses the most from Miami, other than the food, is the beach. “I love the beach, and one of my best vacations was in Roatan, Honduras, where I snorkeled in some beautiful Keys.”
